I'm an Army-trained and board certified psychiatrist. I learned the practice of psychiatry at our nation’s capital, at the President’s Hospital. My practice is based on that experience- helping people through times of stress and turmoil, built on my beliefs in treating the whole person.

True healing is never one-dimensional. At Triad Psychiatric Medicine, I believe that sustainable restoration requires a balance between three distinct pillars: your mind, your biology, and your spirit.

My practice is not geared to prescribe medication and send you on your way, but to develop a trusting partnership to help you achieve a fulfilling life.

As a Christian-based practice, my faith is the absolute cornerstone of how I approach your care, recognizing that you are fearfully and wonderfully made with inherent dignity and a divine purpose. I use prescription medications, coaching and talk therapy approaches as parts of a complete treatment plan. I provide the time and clinical expertise necessary to look beneath the surface, search for root causes of your distress, and help you regain command over your life.

Medication

I can help you find the best medication regimen that helps you feel better without causing unnecessary side effects, and I can help you explore alternatives when appropriate.

Psychotherapy

I use methods derived from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and faith-based philosophies. I listen to you and hear you story and from there, I can offer ways to help you approach difficulties you are facing.

Lifestyle Coaching

The best medication regimen in the world won’t help if your sleep, nutrition, or exercise habits aren’t serving your mental health. I can help you to move in the right direction with these habits.

Fees and Billing

  • If you are on Medicare, I cannot accept you into care.

  • I do not accept insurance or work with insurance companies directly, but I can provide an itemized receipt or superbill that may allow you to get some reimbursement from your insurance company if you have out-of-network benefits.

  • I do not offer a sliding scale or discounted rates. My fees as outlined below are the same for all patients.

  • Initial Consultation (60 minutes): $675

    Follow Up Appointment (50 minutes): $425

    Follow Up Appointment (25 minutes): $300

  • Clinical services provided between appointments (e.g. phone calls with family members or other providers, prior authorizations, letters or forms, transfer of records) are billed at the rate of $75 per 10 minute increment.

  • Basic lab work: Cost of lab testing — billed to insurance (copay may apply), Lab Review Fee — $75

    Genomic Testing: Cost of lab test — billed to insurance (copay may apply), Lab Review Fee — $150
